Our Non-Vacuum Serum Separator Tube (SST) is designed for laboratories and settings requiring flexible, manual blood sample preparation. Unlike standard evacuated tubes, this tube does not contain a pre-set vacuum. It is intended to be filled manually using a syringe transfer or from other primary collection devices.
The tube contains the same essential components as our standard SST: a **silica-based clot activator** and a patented **inert polymer gel barrier**. This allows users to decant or transfer blood into the tube, enabling precise volume control for specialized tests, aliquot preparation, or when the standard vacuum draw volume is not suitable.
Manual Fill Flexibility: Enables precise control over sample volume, ideal for pediatric draws, specific test requirements, or creating aliquots from larger samples.
Standard SST Performance: Contains the same trusted clot activator and separation gel as vacuum SSTs, ensuring rapid clotting and a stable barrier for high-purity serum.

This tube is intended for the manual transfer of venous blood for serum preparation. It is used when controlled sample volume or non-vacuum collection is required.
